Thursday 3th of april during the day all teams and referees from outside The Netherlands arrived. For most of them there was some chit chatting, eating and drinking in the eveninging. And most people were delighted at about half past eleven a.m. that the could enter the sleeping hall.
After a quiet night and a breakfast the tournament began with the match Oryol vs East Anglia. At eleven o´clock the opening ceremony introduced all teams. Special guest, former top scorer of the Korfballeague and player of the dutch nationol team, Jos Roseboom held a speech. And Xqizit performed a dance-act.
After day one we may conclude that Oryal, who won the tournament 2 years ago performed very well. By beating Utrecht University and scoring a last-second penalty in the nerve breaking match against HALO the Hague they are the leaders after day one.

Party time

In the evening everybody moved to the city for dinner. After the delicious pizzas at Mr Jacks’ a city tour by foot brought everybody tot De Grote Catacomben where a party took place. Thanks to several Hebbes-members for helping at the party (almost) everyone partied until they got too tired. Some people thought they were already tired after one hour, but there were also some unstoppable party-animals.

Tonight there will be a party at Olympos, so brighten up your weekend and party all night long!
